We are delighted to announce CSD have been appointed on behalf of Watkins MEP specialist  to provide the detailed mechanical, electrical & public health design from Stage 4 through to Stage 6 for Montford Place, London.

The proposals by Connected Living London (CLL) – the formal partnership between Grainger plc and Transport for London (TfL) – have been given the go ahead at planning committee and will include 40 per cent affordable housing, delivered across two buildings over a central mews street.

Offering a mixture of studio, one, two and three bedroom properties (140 No in total), the buildings will also feature solar panels, roof gardens, hedges and bird boxes to help provide shelter and roosting sites for birds.

Residents will benefit from access to numerous sustainable travel options nearby, with Vauxhall, Kennington and Oval stations all located within ten minutes’ walking distance.

The 2,700 sqm of light industrial workspace is designed to reference the area’s industrial heritage, creating a viable space for a wide range of local businesses, such as a fashion studio, photography workspace or a cycle repair shop.

The central mews street will also be a community focal point, providing space for pop-up markets and street food vendors.
