CSD build on MMC success with a place on the CF21 Framework within the Education Sector

CSD has secured a place with Wates Construction Ltd as their preferred Building Services & Environmental Partner for the delivery of the DfE’s (Department for Education) CF21 Framework across the UK and are currently working on Woldgate School & Sixth Form College in Pocklington, East Yorkshire.

The plans for Woldgate School and Sixth Form College in Pocklington include a new main teaching building, new sports facilities and landscaped grounds.

The DfE schools’ construction framework and is expected to be worth £7bn to the chosen contractors over its four-year term.

The framework is split into three value bands, and each value band is subdivided into regions:

  • high value band (£12m+) – two regions
  • medium value band (£6m to £12m) – eight regions
  • low value band (£0.5m to £6m) – 12 regions

CSD have been working collaboratively with Wates over the last 18 months to develop a tailored MEP design for schools including the integration of Wates owned PRISM offsite M&E Service modules into the design along with LZC technologies.
