Wood Wharf | London

Scope:

Wood Wharf is a new Residential/Retail development in Canary Wharf. It comprises two buildings housing a total of 524 apartments.

CSD’s role was to develop the Stage 4a design into a fully coordinated and federated clash free 3D model to enable SES to install the MEP services efficiently and in a timely manner.

Building A2 (Residential Building)

• Retail at Ground Level and Mezzanine levels.
• 174 Apartments up to Level 13.

Building A3 (Residential Building)

• Retail at Ground Level and Mezzanine levels.
• 350 Apartments up to Level 42.

CSD collaborated with SES to utilise its in-house manufacturing facility, Prism to prefabricate modular plantrooms, HIU,s, risers and corridor services for speedier installation throughout the blocks.  This bespoke offsite capability not only guaranteed quality, but it also ensured just in time deliveries to site, as well as minimising the development’s carbon impact by significantly reducing site waste.
