Scope:
The project consisted of an internal, newly formed ‘white box’ inside the existing facility that houses the new process equipment, this is known as the DEMIN box. It processes and demineralises waste cheese by-products which would normally be used as an additive to animal feed to a standard suitable for human consumption and will be used as a basis for baby milk/powder.
The newly formed GOS building extension also has white walls and a white ceiling creating a clean easy to wash surface.
Both the DEMIN and GOS buildings are fed from process lines from a common newly built tank farm.
