Scope:
CSD Ltd (Commercial Services Design Ltd) where brought on board to replace the incumbent Design Consultant to carry out the full Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health for the new Crest Academy – South Croydon – London.
Due to the unusual appointment circumstances CSD Ltd where set a challenging target not only to meet current planning and BREEAM conditions but to deliver a highly complex MEP solution over 4 No buildings to a very tight programme and considerable budget constraints.
Our scope was to provide a detailed design on behalf of Wates Buildings Services [Part of the Wates Construction Group] including under floor heating, central ventilation with 80% recovery, cooling systems to IT Suites, sprinkler system, BMS, domestic hot & cold water systems, acoustic lighting system, small power, security system, photo voltaic and high capacity data system.
Our design significantly contributed to the BREEAM “Excellent” rating.
